Creative writers

The texts presented in the exhibition are mainly excerpts of longer pieces developed during the Creative Writing minor at the Maastricht University, in the academic year 2015/2016.

Students of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences have worked under supervision of Dr. Caoilinn Hughes on poems and prose, some of which are published in the latest edition of Mosaïek magazine.

Of the thirty students that participated in the creative writing minor, pieces by Felix Qvarnström, Keir Plaice and Priscilla Kint were selected to become a part of the exhibition.

About the Authors:

Priscilla Kint (Steenbergen, 1994) is an International Relations student who keeps finding herself in the south of the Netherlands, surrounded by her family and stories, both written and yet unwritten.

Keir Plaice (Pembroke, 1988) will never ride the Tour de France so he has decided to become a writer.

Felix Qvarnström (Mariehamn, 1993) is a Finnish aspiring writer and a cynical optimist, with a taste for duende and macabre.

Mosaïek is an independent non-profit magazine run by the students of FASoS. It presents an interdisciplinary mixture of articles on culture-related themes, written by students and graduates.
