Sara Bachour (Bologna, 1988) is currently living and working in Maastricht.

She graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design in 2015 and the same year received Tent Academy Award and Gilbert de Bontridder Prijs. In her works, Sara awakens the potential of everyday objects.

This arises from the need to find an antidote: an unconventional view on things, different from their intended function.
